Glynn began training under the instruction of Master Fisher in 2001 at the Gym in Studley. He originally brought along his two boys, Nathan and Ben, but quickly got involved and achieved his current rank of 2nd Dan in November 2007. An ex-army man, Glynn easily took to the discipline of martial arts and was able to instil that same discipline into his boys. His wife Nicky joined the family later - probably tired of washing suits and not getting any fun in dirtying them. Together, they opened the current class in Finstall Primary School, Bromsgrove which has become a thriving, vibrant class with some exceptional students. Glynn's other interests of ska music and Lambretta scooters take him off on rallies around the country, giving his lovely wife Nicky a welcome break from a very well developed Brummie sense of humour!
